The journal gis.Business is pleased to announce its transition from subscription-based access to an Open Access publishing model, effective October 2026.

Previously, access to the journal's published articles was available through subscription. Under the new publishing policy, all articles published from the effective date onward will be freely accessible online to readers worldwide, without requiring a subscription or payment to access the full text.

This transition reflects the journal's commitment to promoting wider dissemination of scholarly research, improving accessibility, and supporting the global exchange of scientific knowledge.

Readers, researchers, and academic institutions are encouraged to explore and share the journal's openly accessible publications in accordance with the applicable article licences and copyright terms.
