This article presents the use of geodata-driven methods for a fully digital population census and examines how spatial information can support modern statistical processes. A population census requires the organization and integration of information about people, addresses, buildings, and administrative areas. Geospatial data can provide an important framework for connecting these different elements and ensuring that information is associated with the correct locations. The article discusses how digital approaches can replace or reduce traditional manual processes and improve the efficiency of census preparation and management. GIS can support the organization of geographic units, address information, and spatial relationships while also helping identify inconsistencies in datasets. A fully digital approach can make data processing more flexible and enable information to be updated and analyzed more efficiently. At the same time, census systems must pay close attention to data quality, privacy, security, and appropriate handling of personal information. The article highlights the role of geospatial information as a foundation for linking statistical and geographic data. By combining digital administrative information with spatial analysis, census activities can become more structured and efficient. The discussion illustrates how geospatial technologies can contribute to the modernization of important public information processes while maintaining the need for careful data management and governance.
