This article examines digital management of sewerage networks. Sewer systems include distributed assets that need accurate records, inspection histories and coordinated maintenance. GIS can map network components and connect them with operational information, making it easier to locate assets, plan interventions and share updates between office and field teams. Digital workflows can improve consistency when records are maintained and updated after work is completed. The topic highlights the value of reliable geospatial asset data for utility management, particularly where older records, complex networks and changing infrastructure create operational challenges.
